It seems like I've been waiting FOREVER to share the Parade House with you! And the day has finally arrived!
This year I had the fabulous opportunity to decorate a house for the Utah Valley Parade of Homes. I was hired by the homeowners - who are friends of mine - to help them create an amazing house...and I think we definitely accomplished that!
This is the entry hall of the house looking through to the great room.
During my Summer Home Tour last week, I showed my new entry hall, but I never had a "BIG REVEAL". So even though technically the new entry has already made its debut on the blog, I still wanted to give it a true reveal.
I hope that even though it's already been seen, you might be interested enough in the details to give this post a read.
Without further ado...the new entry hall.
And just for fun, here's a side-by-side BEFORE and AFTER.
This post is sponsored by Procter & Gamble and The Home Depot.
Every year about this time I get a bee in my bonnet and come up with grand plans to make my summer porch A.MA.ZING. And then I realize that my grand plans are not within my budget.
So I need to come up with more moderate plans. Ha!
So here is what I created using what I already have...
The Parade of Homes house is decorated and the parade starts tomorrow, so I can't stress about it anymore. It turned out so great! I'm super excited to share the house with you. We're having photos done next week, so hopefully, I'll be able to post it then.
But, on to my Frugal Round-up...lots of fun tings to share today!
First up, Sweet Parris Lane shared her checkerboard painted deck. I love this idea! Such a great way to freshen up a deck!
Today I'm super excited to be taking part in The Summer Tour of Homes with 24 of my bestest blogging buddies. If you've just hopped over from The Inspired Room, welcome to my blog! If you haven't yet had a chance to see Melissa's beautiful home, make sure you pop over and take a peek.
Before I share my home with you, here are a couple of unique things I'd like you to know...
1. We rent our home. But I don't let that stop me from making this home a reflection of my taste.
2. I am an interior designer who loves to inspire others with my design philosophy: Luxe for Less. I believe that just because you are on a budget, there's no reason why you can't make your space look well-designed and high end. You just need to think outside the box!
I hope you enjoy my home...
I just redid my entry way and will be posting about the changes in the next day or two but here's a peek...
in the meantime, you can find out how I created the amazing wall here.
I am a Utah Interior Designer and decorating is my passion! Because I am a busy mother to 4 kids, I aim to create spaces that are both beautiful and livable! And I hope to do that without breaking the bank. I have an eye for pretty...and I love sharing my creations with my readers. Join me on the journey of turning a house into a home!
